What drives my work?
I'm committed to the success and wellbeing of all students. I believe schools and other places of learning can be sites of thriving interdependence, benefitting not only our students but our communities as well.
What is my experience?
I was a special education teacher with students preK-8 for over twenty years in both general education and pull-out settings. I have particular expertise in cohort- and student-specific differentiation of curriculum across all subjects, in both content and execution, and in direct partnership with students, fellow staff, and families. I also have broad experience and insight in supporting wellbeing among students and staff through co-owned, responsive systems of responsibility and care. I currently contribute to projects at Fig as a researcher and writer.
What is my education?
I have an MS in Special Education from CUNY and a BA in English Literature from Brown University.
